What are fuse beads?

Fuse beads are small plastic beads arranged on a pegboard and fused together with heat. They are commonly used for pixel art, charms, decorations, keychains, coasters, and kids crafts.

Are fuse beads and Perler beads the same idea?

Perler is a well-known brand name. Fuse beads, ironing beads, and perler-style beads describe the same general craft method.

Should I buy mini beads or classic 5mm beads?

Mini 2.6mm beads are better for detailed pixel art and small finished projects. Classic 5mm beads are easier to handle and better for beginners or kids craft projects.

Do I need tools?

If you are starting from zero, you will usually want pegboards, tweezers, and ironing paper in addition to bead packs.
